Heather’s interest in natural healing began as a new mum in early 1977 when she began acupuncture, naturopathy and herbal medicine training. These over the decades have served her well in teaching other healers – and as her own family grew to 4 children over 18 years, she personally encountered many of the obstetric hurdles many do.

Her time spent in serving women, especially in all matters maternal (being a doula before such a term was used – in the 80’s and 90’s) lead her into writing the manual ‘What Dads Can Do’ in 2005.

Discovering Arvigo® Techniques of Maya abdominal therapy and following through to become a Self Care teacher in both her native NZ and in Australia has allowed her to fully grasp the missing links in so much of what happens to all of us.

By fusing what she has in the past 40+ years of asking different questions: seeing the world through the eyes of a naive energy worker, she recently developing The Gentling Way – an amalgamation of all she has experienced in working on all ages and stages of life.

Heartful hands . .  Teaching others how to love their own bodies better – in online and face to face and in experiential trainings
