While studying massage, I realized the importance of supporting women’s health especially after child birth. New moms are well taken care of during pregnancy, yet, it seems, many are left to recover and move forward from their birthing experience on their own and with little knowledge or support. Because of this, women can remain in a state of postpartum for many years after birthing. Caring for women at every stage of life is so important, before onset of menses through menopause. I’ve been blessed to birth and raise nine children of my own. Adding to those nine unique experiences along with the knowledge acquired through massage therapy, many of the issues that pop up for moms to be, new moms and their babies becomes easily relatable.
